Choosing a safe dog toy for boarding

Strong and Fun!

We understand that choosing a dog toy for your furry friend for kennel boarding can be difficult, especially when they will be bringing it with them during their stay at our facility. That's why we want to share some tips on how to choose the perfect toy for your dog.

First and foremost, safety is our top priority. When selecting a toy for your dog, make sure it does not have any detachable parts that can potentially harm them. This includes small pieces that can be easily swallowed or sharp edges that can cause injuries. We want your dog to have a fun and safe experience during their stay with us.

In addition to safety, durability is also important when choosing a toy for your dog. Our kennels get cleaned regularly, which means the toys can get wet, muddy and dirty. Therefore, we recommend toys that are strong and cleanable. Ideally, the toy should also be long lasting to provide entertainment for your dog throughout their entire stay.

We understand that dogs love to chew on things and we encourage playtime during their stay with us. However, if the toy gets destroyed in the process, don't worry! We have plenty of backups available and we will dispose of any damaged toys in a kind manner. Our goal is for your dog to have a good time without worrying about anything too valuable getting destroyed.

When selecting a toy, consider your dog's breed and size as well as their individual play style. Some dogs prefer plush toys while others enjoy rope toys or chew toys. It's always best to observe your dog's preferences before making a purchase.

At our facility, we strive to provide an engaging and stimulating environment for all dogs in our care. That's why we highly recommend bringing a familiar toy from home so your dog feels comfortable and at ease during their stay with us.

We hope these tips help you choose the perfect toy for your furry friend's visit with us. Our team is always happy to provide additional recommendations and advice to ensure your dog has a fun and safe boarding experience. Thank you for considering our services and we look forward to meeting you and your pet  companion soon.
