Yes,probably !
When it comes to dog boarding, one of the most common questions we receive is whether or not dogs will need a bath at the end of their stay. The answer to this question is not a simple yes or no - there are many factors that can influence whether or not your furry friend will require a bath before heading home.
First and foremost, the length of your dog's stay with us will play a significant role in determining if they need a bath. If your pup is only staying with us for a day or two, it's unlikely that they will get very dirty and therefore may not require a bath. However, if your dog is staying with us for an extended period of time, it's possible that they may accumulate dirt and grime on their fur.
The weather also plays a large role in whether dogs will need a bath during their stay with us. Here at our facility, we are situated on seven acres of land which means plenty of room for dogs to run and play. However, during times of wet weather and muddy conditions, it's inevitable that some dogs may come back from their outdoor adventures looking less than clean. In these situations, we do our best to keep our fields maintained and mud-free, but sometimes mother nature has different plans.
While we understand that some pet owners prefer to bathe their own dogs upon returning home from boarding, others may not have the means or desire to do so. For those who fall into the latter category, we are more than happy to provide bathing services for an additional fee. Our staff is experienced in grooming and taking care of all types of breeds and coats, ensuring that your dog will leave our facility feeling fresh and clean.
It's important to note that kennels can often leave a lingering smell on pets due to the cleaning products used in disinfecting and maintaining the facilities. While our team takes every precaution to minimize any unpleasant odors, it's not uncommon for dogs to pick up a slight scent during their stay. In these cases, a bath may be the best option to ensure your dog returns home smelling like their usual self.
Ultimately, whether or not your dog will require a bath at the end of their boarding stay is up to you as the pet owner. We understand that every dog and their owner's preferences are different, and we are happy to accommodate any requests. However, we do recommend considering the factors mentioned above when making your decision.
We hope this page has provided you with some insight into our policy regarding dog baths during boarding stays. As always, our goal is to provide top-notch care for your furry family member and ensure that they have a comfortable and enjoyable experience while staying with us. Thank you for choosing our facility for all of your pet's grooming and boarding needs!
