- Booking of services are binding only when (1) confirmed by us AND (2) owner and animal information is accurate and complete AND (3) your animal is accepted at our premises as satisfying our vaccination, health and behaviour requirements.
- Last arrival is 4pm to allow time for settling animals staying overnight.
- Only animals up to date with vaccinations, parasitic prevention, in good health, friendly to people and safe for our staff to care for are accepted. If you are uncertain, seek prior assessment and/or vaccine checks.
- We do not accept animals with current or historic aggression or unsafe behaviour towards animals or humans. All animals must be capable of being handled without the need for additional restraint or equipment (muzzle/pole/gloves etc).
- IF WE REFUSE OR TERMINATE A BOOKING DUE TO ANIMAL VACCINATIONS BEING INCORRECT, ILL-HEALTH OR BEHAVIOUR OR DUE TO YOUR BREACH OF THESE TERMS, THEN NO REFUND (IF PAID) OR REDUCTION (IF UNPAID). We are not liable for any loss or damages arising from our refusal, termination, or cancellation of services in such circumstances.
- Cancellation by you upon arrival or on the day of anticipated arrival or non-show on the day → no reduction (booking payable in full).
- Advance cancellation - our reduction depends on the service type and notice given. Your attention is drawn to our boarding cancellations: more than 30 days’ notice → 100% reduction, 21–30 days’ notice → 75% reduction, 10–20 days’ notice → 50% reduction and less than 10 days’ notice → no reduction.
- No liability for your losses – If we refuse or terminate because you breach these terms or for health and safety concerns, or for legal or licensing reasons or as permitted in our terms, we are not responsible for your losses, such as missed flights, cancelled holiday or events, cancelled or alternative accommodation, cost of alternative providers, lost income or other consequential losses. - Vaccinations – Proof of in-date vaccinations is required. Without the vaccine card or medical history from your vet. we must refuse admission. Dogs: DHP/DHPPi and Lepto boosters and kennel cough must be in date and effective for the period, in accordance with the manufacturer's datasheet. Cats: Infectious Feline Enteritis, Feline Respiratory Disease, and any other diseases required by licensing requirements.
- Health – Parasitic prevention must be up to date. Animals unwell in the last 21 days need a vet letter confirming they are not potentially infectious or zoonotic. Vomiting/diarrhoea at arrival will result in refusal, and any ill-health whilst in our care may require collection.
- Medication – Daily charge applies. Medication must not necessitate force. We do not offer overnight medical monitoring or care.
- Food – You may provide your own food. If not, we supply complete dry food, but we are not responsible for intolerance, refusal, or upset resulting from a diet change. All food must be labelled with the animal name, your surname and quantity instructions.
- Pricing – Rates are peak and off-peak. Portal estimates for future dates may vary. Peak rates apply to UK school holidays, including July-September and half terms. Public/bank/religious holidays (incl. part days) are double days. See our portal and website for current pricing.
- Abandonment – 7 days after the departure date, uncollected animals may be treated as abandoned and passed to the authority. All monies paid are non refundable, and costs (including additional fees incurred) remain payable. We are not liable for the loss of your animal if uncollected from us. If you need to extend a booking, simply contact us or request the extension on the portal.
- Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 remain unaffected. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury to humans caused by our negligence, or for services not carried out with reasonable care.
FULL Terms and Conditions for Little Green Westra Limited
- Owner & Animal Information You must provide full and accurate information in the portal before check-in, including ALL of the following (failure to provide or update the above information may result in refusal and constitutes a breach of our terms as required for licensing and safety):
- Owner details: full name, address, phone, email, emergency contact person (not travelling with you and authorised to collect and/or make decisions).
- Animal details: name, sex, DOB (approx if unknown), breed/type, colour, markings, recent photo, microchip number, and weight.
- Dogs over 45kg must be disclosed in advance since a safety and suitability assessment may be needed to ensure your animal can be safely walked on a lead.
- Current vaccination and/or medical records (dogs must have KC).
- Confirmation of up-to-date parasite treatment
- Medical history and details of any current medication.
- Disclosure of any behavioural concerns, including any actual or attempted attack upon or biting of humans or animals.
- Known behaviours (eg reactivity, resource guarding or triggers such as doesn’t like males).
- Registered vet details (name, address, phone).
- Your insurance provider, policy number and cover limits if applicable.
- Breeds We do not accept Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, XL Bully, or any crosses/types.
- Behaviour and Suitability We have the right to refuse animals deemed unsafe, illegal, unsuitable or in breach of our requirements. Our decision is final.
- We do not accept animals with any history of aggression, attempted attack or biting (towards humans or animals) for safety reasons.
- Dogs must be safe for our staff to interact with and care for, be capable of walking safely on a collar and lead and not be destructive to property. Cats must be handleable and amenable to being placed into their travel carrier.
- Collars/harnesses provided by you must be secure and correctly fitted, such that they cannot pass over the animals’ ears, allowing them to slip free and escape.
- Escape-risk dogs are unsuitable (e.g capable of scaling or jumping fencing).
- Assessment or acclimatisation stays may be required before overnight boarding to familiarise your animals with our staff and premises. Please discuss this option with us if you are concerned that your animal requires a period of adjustment or a slower introduction to our services.
- Health Animals unwell in the last 21 days must provide a veterinary certificate confirming they are not potentially infectious or zoonotic.
- Animals vomiting or experiencing diarrhoea on arrival or within the first 3 days will be refused or required to be collected.
- If illness arises during a stay, we may isolate or require collection. Isolation, veterinary, and additional cleaning costs are payable by you.
- Safety and Restraint All dogs must walk on a lead safely without the need for additional equipment.
- Dogs necessitating any additional restraint, such as a muzzle to prevent or reduce unsafe behaviour are unsuitable and will be refused, or if in our care, must be collected and the booking terminated.
- It is your responsibility to disclose any history of aggression or reactivity which may pose a safety concern to people or animals on site and seek prior assessment of suitability in advance by attending on site with your animal by appointment only once we have all information including vaccination proof.
- Temporary restraint may be used by our staff for short-term emergencies only.
- If restraint is needed for routine care, including walking, grooming or movement, then the animal will be deemed unsuitable and either refused or, if in our care, must be collected.
- Where refusal or termination is due to your breach of our terms, no refund is due, and the booking fees plus any additional costs remain payable.
- Vaccinations & Parasite Control Dogs: DHP/DHPPi, Lepto (L2/L4) and kennel cough in date (note that KC is typically required to be given more than three weeks before a stay unless a shorter period is specified in the data sheet). Consult your vet in advance since licensing rules require these vaccinations.
- Cats: Infectious Feline Enteritis (FPV) and Feline Respiratory Disease (FHV & FCV), and any other diseases as required by licensing conditions.
- Proof (vaccination card or veterinary record) must be uploaded to the portal and/or shown at check-in. No proof of vaccination means we have to refuse under council rules.
- Effective flea/worm cover must last the full stay. You can confirm treatment on the portal or upon arrival
- Medication and supplements incur a daily surcharge.
- Medicines must be supplied in their original packaging, labelled with animal name/dose. Please enter details into the portal and clarify upon arrival.
- We cannot provide overnight monitoring, out-of-hours dosing, or give medications requiring dose adjustment (eg insulin dose based on testing) or force or restraint during administration.
- Food & Belongings - You may supply your animal’s own food. Please label all belongings with the animal’s name and your surname.
- If food is not supplied, we will provide complete dry food.
- Any consequences (intolerance, upset, refusal) due to diet change are at your risk.
- Specialist or prescription diets must be provided by you.
- You may provide a bed and/or bedding; however, we cannot accept crates as these are unsuitable overnight.
- All belongings must be labelled correctly and must be durable. We cannot wash or clean your belongings, so only provide items which you are happy to receive back soiled.
- We are not responsible for the loss or destruction of belongings supplied for use during your animal’s stay. Please do not send any valuable or fragile items.
- Veterinary Care In the event of your animal becoming unwell, we will try to contact you and your emergency contact but we may obtain veterinary care if needed, in which case you authorise us to act as your agent.
- You are responsible for all costs unless your animal’s ill-health is caused by our proven negligence.
- You indemnify us for veterinary, transport, medication, and isolation costs.
- Injury and Damage You are responsible for all injuries or damage caused by your animal to humans, animals or property.
- In the event of such an event occurring, and you are insured, details of this policy must be disclosed, and you authorise us to pass this information to any affected party.
- Multiple Animals (same species only) If you request animals be housed together, you accept all risk of injury or death arising between them. Only animals from the same household may be accommodated together under licensing rules. A discount is available when animals occupy a shared cabin.
- If animals must be separated for feeding, this information must be entered into the portal and clarified at arrival.
- Transport Available Mon–Fri, 9am–2pm only.
- Must be booked at least 7 days in advance.
- Charged separately from booking fees since transport cost is based on distance/time. Ask for an estimate if needed in advance of booking.
- Transport times for pickup and drop off are indicative only since traffic delays may occur. We advise booking transport to pick up your animal(s) a day before you leave rather than on your day of departure.
- We are not liable for stress, illness, or natural death during transport unless caused by our negligence.
- Check-In / Check-Out Standard hours are 8:30–16:00 or as published on our website/portal.
- Last arrival or departure is 16:00 unless agreed otherwise in advance.
- We are closed on Christmas Day.
- Out-of-hours arrivals or departures are not accepted without prior agreement and will be subject to a surcharge.
- Collection & Abandonment Collection must be at the agreed date/ time or an extension must be requested.
- After 7 days uncollected, animals may be deemed abandoned and passed to the local authority. No refund or reduction in our fees and you are responsible for all costs resulting from the non-collection.
- Pricing & Peak Periods Prices include VAT.
- Prices are reviewed regularly and may be subject to change.
- Portal estimates for future dates may not reflect actual rates at the time of the service being provided.
- We charge peak and non-peak rates. Peak being UK school holidays and our busy periods.
- Public/religious/bank/special holidays (including partial days) are double-rate days for daycare and boarding. The reservation will include a 100% surcharge per double day.
- Transport is charged separately, fairly, by distance/time and must be requested in advance and will be added to your invoice separately.
- Cancellation and/or Refusal Reductions vary according to the service type and the notice period of the cancellation and/or refusal and/or termination in relation to the start date of the service. If you have paid in excess of the amount due we will refund or credit the difference.
- If you cancel a service (whole or partial), or your animal is refused under these terms or we terminate performance under these terms, all fees for the services are payable minus the following reductions:
- Daycare: 100% reduction if more than 2 days notice is given.
- Training: 100% reduction if more than 7 days notice is given. In the event of a series of pre-scheduled lessons purchased together or a course of sessions, the start date of the service is that of the first training.
- Transport: 100% reduction provided more than 5 days notice is given.
- Boarding: Reduction percentage varies according to the notice given to take into account the allocation of accommodation, staffing and resources:

Less than 10 days notice: no reduction, the full cost is payable, including cancellation or refusal on the day of arrival or no-show.
- Any refusal or termination by us due to your breach of our terms, for example, your animal being unsuitable (including vaccines, health and behaviour), results in zero reduction.
- In the event that our refusal occurs before the start date, the cancellation terms of the service type determine the percentage of reduction in costs due.
- Photos and Video We may photograph or record animals for operational purposes or for report cards. We do not use these images for marketing unless you opt in or give express permission.
- Cancellation by Us We may cancel at any time. Refunds are payable only if the cancellation did not result from your breach of our terms, a health or safety concern or any legal or regulatory issue and in the event that monies paid exceed the amount due.
- Website & Portal Keep your login secure; you are responsible for use.
- We may change content, features, or prices without notice.
- CCTV may operate but is not guaranteed. Recordings are ours, shared only if legally required or in the event of a dispute , legal proceedings or investigation.
- Calls may be recorded but this is not guaranteed. Recordings are ours, shared only if legally required or in the event of a dispute, legal proceedings or an investigation.
- Personal data is processed under our Privacy and Cookie Policies, see website.
- Liability We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury to humans caused by our negligence, or for services not carried out with reasonable care.
- Subject to this: our total liability is capped at the lowest of: fees paid, £500, or one week’s standard boarding fee for your animal(s).
- We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from our refusal, termination, or cancellation of services due to your breach of our terms.
- We are not liable for any consequential or indirect losses such as:
- Missed holidays, occasions, events, including loss of enjoyment and disappointment
- Loss of or the provision of alternative travel, flights, accommodation or similar
- Loss of income, profit or opportunity
- Alternative care or kennel/cattery, or services
- Veterinary fees or treatment
- Death or Illness of Animals We are not liable if an animal dies or becomes ill from natural causes, pre-existing/undisclosed conditions, your instructions limiting vet care, accidents, ingestion, or fighting between your own animals. Only proven negligence by us creates liability.
- If your animal is of a certain age where natural death from old age or an existing condition could reasonably be anticipated then disclosure and instructions must be provided in advance including two emergency contacts and written agreement from your vet that their clinic will take over treatment and/or euthanasia if needed.
- We cannot monitor health overnight so admission into veterinary hospital is necessary in the event of ill-health.
- You are responsible for all veterinary costs and if applicable burial arrangements.
- Indemnity You indemnify us against all costs, losses, damages, expenses, claims, or liabilities (including vet bills, isolation, repairs, staff injury claims, and legal costs) arising from:
- Your breach of these terms;
- Your animal’s behaviour or health;
- Any belongings or equipment provided by you;
- Misrepresentation, non-disclosure, or failure to provide or update information;
- Claims by third parties relating to your animal.
- This indemnity is uncapped, survives termination, and is not limited by our terms.
- Force Majeure We may cancel or suspend services without liability if services become unlawful or impossible due to licensing issues, regulatory restrictions, disease outbreak, Covid/public health rules, DEFRA orders, fire, flood, utilities failure, or staff shortage.
- Our liability in such cases is limited to the refund of undelivered, paid services only, and this is reduced to nil if the cause of the cancellation or suspension is your breach of our terms.
- Disputes Disputes must be raised in writing and we aim to respond within 14 days. This timescale allows for investigation into your complaint.
- Both parties will attempt resolution in good faith within 21 days before taking court action.
- Third-Party Rights No third party has rights under these Terms.
- Severability If any provision of these terms, or part of a provision, is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision (or part) shall be deemed severed to the minimum extent necessary. The remainder of these terms shall continue in full force and effect.
- Governing Law These terms and any dispute or claim (including non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim.
- Goods Sales & Returns (not applicable to services) Applies to goods purchased at the premises or online. Services remain subject to the clauses above.
- Right to Cancel (online/phone sales only) – 14-day return for refund if goods are unopened and unused, in original packaging, provided they are not an excluded product. Return postage and costs are payable by you unless faulty or misdescribed. Refunds are made within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
- Exclusions – no returns unless faulty or misdescribed are accepted for:
- Perishable food and/or treats
- Opened/part-used products
- Customised or bespoke products
- Veterinary products
- Sealed products once opened
- Faulty/Misdescribed Goods – You are entitled to repair, replacement, or refund upon return of defective or misdescribed goods to us. Postage is at our cost if faulty or misdescribed. Statutory rights apply. Refunds are made within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
- In-Store Purchases – Returns accepted only if goods are faulty or misdescribed where statutory rights apply. Refunds are made within 14 days of receiving the returned faulty or misdescribed goods.
- Statutory Rights – Nothing in these Terms affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
